The Long Welded Rail Trailer (LWRT) Type IV is custom-designed to support long welded rail transportation and unloading operations for railway infrastructure projects. Each wagon is equipped with three sets of rail stackers capable of carrying up to 24 rails arranged in three layers, with eight rails per layer.

The wagon incorporates front and rear rail stoppers to secure rail loads during transportation. A specially designed unloading ramp is installed at the rear of the final wagon, enabling smooth rail deployment during installation and renewal works.

Each rail stacker is fitted with rollers to reduce friction and facilitate efficient unloading. The system also includes a removable overhead rail handling beam and a 2-ton hand hoist for lifting and positioning rail sections during maintenance and construction activities.

The LWRT Type IV is compatible with a wide range of standard rail profiles, including BS80, BS100, UIC54, UIC60, and JS50, making it suitable for railway networks and infrastructure projects worldwide.
