Refurbishment, Overhaul and Modification of Plymouth 750HP Diesel Locomotive — Gauge Convertible (Meter to Standard Gauge)

A.F.S. Enterprise successfully completed the refurbishment, overhaul, and modification of a Plymouth 750HP diesel locomotive, restoring the locomotive from a heavily weathered condition into a reliable and operational railway vehicle.

The project included comprehensive structural inspection, mechanical overhaul, body restoration, corrosion treatment, rust removal, surface preparation, and complete repainting in the locomotive's signature red and yellow livery. Mechanical systems were thoroughly inspected and restored to ensure dependable performance for railway operations.

As part of the engineering upgrade, the locomotive was prepared with a gauge-convertible configuration, allowing conversion from Meter Gauge (1,000 mm) to Standard Gauge (1,435 mm). This enhancement increases operational flexibility, enabling the locomotive to be deployed across different railway networks while extending its service life and operational value.
